volunteer program to find more comprehensive ways to include you. We are looking for your support. Please see the

Opportunities
Trip Volunteer: The trip volunteers act as assistant instructors; they assist the Outdoor Outreach Field Staff in the creation of a fun, safe outdoor experience with our youth participants.
Adventure Club Volunteer: Provide assistance to the Adventure Club Manager, Staff and Faculty Advisor, and help facilitate the Club.
Development Research: With direction from the Development Associate, volunteers will research and log funding opportunities for Outdoor Outreach.
Marketing Volunteer: The marketing volunteer will be responsible for assisting in the support and advancement of our current communications systems.
Community Outreach and Civic Engagement (COCE): With direction from the Development Associate, the COCE volunteer will be responsible for finding ways to get the word out about Outdoor Outreach. The goal is to find more community support, volunteers and donors.
Salesforce Support: This position will support staff in the usage and maintenance of Salesforce. Depending on experience level this position may entail Salesforce customization and establishment of best practices.
IT Support: We are looking for volunteers who can help us with our computer problems. When our computers get sick, we can always use a helping hand.
Bike Maintenance Volunteer: We need experienced volunteers who can help us transfer the ownership of bike maintenance back to the youth we serve by teaching, or helping to teach basic and advanced bike maintenance to our adventure clubs and leadership students.
Pro Bono Van Maintenance Technician: Outdoor Outreach owns three 15-passenger vans which are used for programming on 250 trips per year. We need regular maintenance and emergency repair work done at a deeply discounted price in order to best serve the youth in the community.
Event Volunteers
2010 Joshua Tree Experience Prize Committee: Secure donations for the 2010 Joshua Tree Experience raffle/auction. The raffle will consist of larger prizes included in 6-8 themed packages.
Host a Volunteer Run Fundraiser: Examples – Plan a wine tasting, run a boot camp, host a workshop, approach a local restaurant.
